Voyage Magique is a mixed-techniques animation project that explores an enchanting universe inspired by the world of magic. Through this project, I showcase the entire creation process, from initial sketches to finalized animations, providing a captivating insight into my artistic approach.
The project begins with sketches and concepts that bring imaginary characters and scenes to life. I also incorporate photography to visually enrich the final result, creating a dynamic and immersive composition. Each step, from preliminary research to the realization of the animation, is carefully documented, illustrating my creative process and the evolution of my work.

Storyboard
A storyboard is a series of illustrations that allows for visualizing a story before its production. It serves to plan each scene, indicating actions, transitions, and camera angles. In my projects, I use it to transform a script into clear visuals, ensuring smooth narration and consistency in creative choices. Each sketch is accompanied by technical notes, facilitating communication with teams and optimizing the production process.

In the second stage, I selected a colour palette combining elegant black, pure white, calming sky blue, vibrant orange, golden yellow, and light blue to create a dynamic and balanced atmosphere for the animation.

In the third stage, I created the initial sketches and then coloured them using the chosen palette to bring the characters and scenes to life while adhering to the overall aesthetic of the project.

In the fourth stage, I created an initial animation using the sketches. This allows for visualizing the key movements while remaining true to the original drawings before the complete integration of colours and effects.

In the final stage, I completed the animation by adding all the colour details, visual effects, and smooth transitions. I used a mix of visual elements, combining photographs and illustrations. This creative collage allows for the fusion of real textures and stylized drawings, adding depth and an interesting visual contrast.
